This photo I took during my band’s concert tour in November 2006 in the beautiful old town of Torun. Torun has an excellent old medieval town. It was wet November night. The air was thick and moist, a kind of fog with a very big dews that kept the light from the lamps. It seemed that the light is halted or frozen.
Photo taken during the hard and freezing winter period in Poland in 2006, just nearby my apartment. I was trying to take a photo of ice crystals on the branch of the tree and the bird in the background found himself in the photo only by coincidence.
Let me start my photo blog with the photo of the most important person in my life - my wife. It was taken during our last holidays in Poland, on Baltic sea coast, on the beach. The title of the photo was inspired by - infamous and famous at the same time - film by Leni Riefenstahl “Triumph of Will”. This photo reminds me of a typical image of sportswomen in the 1930’s in the totalitarian states like Germany and Soviet Russia. The pure blood, youth and will. Luckily those ideas are not valid any more in Europe.
