Outer Hebrides part.2

Outer Hebrides, Isle Of Lewis, Camera: Zenit ET, Kodak 200, Photo: Krystian Kozerawski, Kozerawski.com

A old abandoned house on Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The house was turned into kind of sheepshed, however the upper floor survived with some decayed furniture. In one of them my friend found an old decayed Scottish Gaelic version of Bible and some old letter with the stamps from 1938. Camera: Zenit ET, Kodak 200

The Sasanach (English landlords)helped destroy this region-no wonder it is still pro-independist.Agus tha an Gaidhlig ag fail bas (and Gaelic is dying too)

Diarmuid, yes I know the Scottish history quite well, however, Outer Hebrides was the only region of Scotland where I met people using Scottish Gaelic in daily life.
