1998 or 1997, Scotland, Orkney Islands, Mainland of Orkney, Megalithic stone circle - Ring of Brodgar. Orkney Islands it is a magic place for somebody interested in archaeology of the North. It is the place richest in archaeological sites and ancient monuments in whole UK. Ring Of Brodgar stands on a kind of earth causeway between two lakes. I took many photos of it, and that one reminds me a group of a strange fellows who are not a positive persons for sure :) Camera: Zenit ET, Kodak 200, scanned from an original print.
2006, Ireland, Offaly, Turf field close to Clonmacnoise and Athlone. Dead flat land and grimy landscape that reminds a background to the films like Mad Max or to the computer game Fallout. Camera: Minolta A1
Plague, disease and black death. This is another abstract photo, an effect of a play with Photoshop. The photo of a man was taken in completely different circumstances and of course he was OK :) It is his hands on his face and eyes made me thinking about doing something different with the photo. Yet again I used a background texture which was an old rusted communication metal box.

Being impressed by community news content services such as Digg.com, Kick.ie and others I have just set up a new website - Fotoblogi.eu. The idea is simple - Fotoblogi.eu is a community based photobloggers’ source content site that allows you to submit news about your new photos, that will be reviewed by all and will be promoted, based on popularity, to the main page. When a user submits a news it will be placed in the “unpublished” area until it gains sufficient votes to be promoted to the main page.
