Cross with Jesus figure in the middle of the cemetery in the ruins of old abbey in the outskirts of Nenagh town, Co. Tipperary in Ireland. It was gloomy autumn day with pale grey light. The work is an effect of some play with Photoshop CS2. Camera: Konica Minolta A1 DiMage.

Irish trees part 2.

Yet another photos of 2 trees in the middle of the field of Burtonhall, co. Carlow, Ireland. We had our archaeological excavation site just beside the field, and for couple of months we were watching those trees getting green. Camera: Konica Minolta A1 DiMage.
I was playing a little with that photo in Photoshop, and yet again I couldn’t decide which one to show, so I am posting 2 versions of the same photo.

General Post Office in 2 colours

1 year ago, during my stay in Dublin I took some photos of General Post Office, especially the statues on the roof and the Irish national flag. I have just found those photos on my hard disk and have just played a little with them in Photoshop CS2. I am not sure which one should I post, so there are 2 colour version of it.

General Post Office, O’Connell Street, Dublin is a symbol of Irish nationalism and struggle for independence. In 1916 Easter Rising it was a headquarters of the uprising’s leaders.
