Old cemetery in Lodz at Ogrodowa Street. This old cemetery in Lodz is a burial place of most of the noble men of Lodz of 3 Christian religions. The cemetery is divided to Catholic, Orthodox and Lutheran section. The founders of modern Lodz are buried there - Karol Scheibler (owner one of the biggest factories and the founder of workers colony - Ksiezy Mlyn), Henryk & Ludwik Grohman, Gustaw & Emil & Ludwik Geyer (factory owners), Robert Biedermann (factory founder) & Alfred Biedermann (factory owner, chairman of the Tramway Company in Lodz), Ludwik Anstadt (director of Lodz brewery in 19th century), Johan Petersilge (printer of the first newspapers in Lodz - Łódzkie Ogłoszenia - Łodźer Anzeiger (bilingual, German title has Polish letters in name of the town) and Lodzer Zeitung) and many more.
