A good number of Volksdeutchen were there employed. I remember the name of Sutter,an ethnic German from a small town around Lodz, who spoke Yidish. It seems that he conducted some business with Jews before the war. But Sutter was not alone, he only was a master in torture. The routine in Kripo was severe beating before demanding dollars, gold etc from the victims.Giving the possession didnt help and killing was the final result. The torture was sadistic and very few men left the red house alive. With a sadness in my heart I have seen a lot of activity in this bloody house during my visit. Marysinska as an American Fulbright for a year. I'm a filmmaker, and "The Lilliput" (from my script) is the film project I began there in 2007-08, shooting 7000 linear feet on 35mm, and editing the trailer. I am still hard at work on this project.
