The traditional Kashubian house in the Sominy village (Sommin in German). Though the houses with thatched roofs are not in the use anymore, some of them are preserved as historic monuments. The old wooden houses are still in use. In the Sominy (Sommin) village you can still visit the old wooden school and beautiful wooden church (once Lutheran, now Catholic).
Some of you have noticed the lack of new updates of my photoblog. The reason is very simply. We went for holidays to the Northern Poland to the small village in Kashubia (Kaszebe / Kaschubei). Here you can see some of the photos of my wife - Agnieszka (Agnes) taking sunbath, meditating and reading the Life of Buddha.
