The traditional Kashubian house in the Sominy village (Sommin in German). Though the houses with thatched roofs are not in the use anymore, some of them are preserved as historic monuments. The old wooden houses are still in use. In the Sominy (Sommin) village you can still visit the old wooden school and beautiful wooden church (once Lutheran, now Catholic).

Ireland, Rock of Dunamase - late 12th century castle on a top of the hill close to the Portlaoise. Though the castle had been ruined since the late 14th century, it was blown up by Cromwellian army in case of reuse of the fortress. Camera: Samsung GX 10, HDR.

First two - late 17th century wooden chaapels of St Roch and St Anthony built on the water stream and possible water source - a holy well (some people still believe that water from the chapels can heal or at least is healthy). Those pictures are also my first HDR photos.
Nearby of those two chapels, the Franciscans’ Friary. Though the Friary was erected in late 17th century, the building is from the mid 18th century.
