Stealing photos in name of Jesus is evil!

I have to mention the example of very bad behaviour I have experienced recently. One of my photos (Gloomy Jesus) was used on one of the blogs without my permision, without mentioning me as the author, and finally and luckily was uploaded from my account. The author devoted his or her blog entry to the Jesus, but it is not an excuse of using my photos without permission. I have posted my comment to the blog entry with my sacrastic complains about the situation, but my comment wasn’t accepted and the author of the blog haven’t contacted me so far to express his or her excuses and to ask me about permission to use that photo. Since the stolen photo was still uploaded from my server I decide to drasticaly mention the author what’s happened and to mention who has the rights to the photo.

Please read the disclaimer and ask for permission. I have never made any problems for private use of my photos (for the blogs or myspace profiles). All what you have to do is to ask. and don’t ask Jesus… ask me.

I know that this is a bit rough, but replacing the photo of Jesus with a warning was the only thing I could do.

Irish Blog Awards - being shortlisted

My photoblog is shortlised for Irish Blog Awards. I am very happy and I would like to thank all of you who voted for it. To be honest, I didn’t expected to be nominated this year in any of the categories. Yet again I can spread my wings in Ireland.

Go Raibh Maith Agat!

P.S. This year I will be there, so I am looking forward to meet all of you!

Carlow Rally part 2. Testing Adobe PS CS3 on iMac

Ireland, Carlow Rally2007. Rally organised on the country roads of county Carlow. Despite of the fact that I have a big collection of photos taken during that rally, it was not my intention to show all of them but to play for a while with new Adobe Photoshop CS 3. I got legal/original Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Windows and just a few days ago I changed the platform and moved from PC and Win XP to iMac and Mac OS X Leopard. On one of the DVDs of .PSD magazine I found trial version of PS CS3 and decided to install it on my Mac. In a forthcoming weeks I will call my Adobe reseller and I will ask them for Photoshop Upgrade to CS3 but also from my PS CS2 for Windows to PS CS3 for Mac. I hope that such kind of upgrade is possible. If not, then I must install Windows XP on Bootcamp or Parallels and then my Photoshop CS2 for Windows on it. If you know anything about possibility of such upgrade, please let me know.
As for the photo of that car. I have just moved all my PSD files from PC to Mac, and just opened one of them in PS CS3 to play a little bit with Photoshop for Mac. PSD file was created in my Photoshop CS2. Camera: Konica Minolta A1 DiMage
