Pros of field archaeology: September 2006, Ireland, somewhere in North Tipperary, morning dew on the green grass. This photo is dedicated to everybody who is fed up with grey late autumn and white winter and who is missing the fresh green of the grass on the fields. Camera: Konica Minolta A1 DiMage.

June 2007, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Falls Road, old cemetery. We went to Belfast to see the city and the famous murals, and walking down the Falls Road we got to the beautiful old cemetery. To be honest - it is the most beautiful cemetery I have seen so far both in Ireland and UK. With its sculptures, graves, nice alleys it reminds me old continental cemeteries especially some parts of old Ogrodowa Street cemetery in Lodz, Poland. Camera: Konica Minolta A1 DiMage

On the Easter 2006 me and my friends from my archaeological company went for a trip to Kerry. We had only one day to drive through the Ring of Kerry from its north side (counter clockwise) and then to the West Cork. We drove to Valentia Island and then we stopped a few miles south from Portmagee, when I took that photo and the other one of Skelig Islands. Camera: Konica Minolta A1 DiMage

Sky and clouds in Ireland are the one of the most impressive objects of observation. The clouds in Ireland form breathtaking forms. Grain/noise is the effect of high ISO mode.
