This is one excellent camera, even with the relatively low megapixels resolution the overall quality of features for this price makes one of the bests (if not the best) machines of the category.

Lodz Ghetto was Dante's inferno. The Jews taken to the Kripo were cruelly murdered. The worst happened during the Sperre when day in and out Reichsautobahn trailers manned bny Einsatztruppen took Jewish children, women and men to their death to
Treblinka. My mother was murdered in Chelmno. The Lodz Ghetto was hell on earth.

Excellent photos of DRG "Kassel" Era II covered goods wagons. They served long and well before, during and after WW II. Used for troops, medical and prisoner transport as well as goods transport.

Dear Sir,

Where is the mass grave of the 2000 cadavers of Radogoszcz???

Experience of firestorming of Japan of 1944-feb 1945 show us that human corpses loose about 10% of body weight in fires.

retired Medical Examiner from Connecticut, raised in Lodz from 1946 until 1964. Mosts of them could not be identified thus buried in one mass grave.

I grew up there, and now lead a life of privilege in comparison to the memory.

Went back there a few years ago, and it’s like you say, nothing has changed from my youth to now (30 years). I was told it was a bad area and I should not go there, yet I did not feel fear, it was the place I grew up in and it seemed that even the soccer thugs sensed something about my posture that was non-threatening. I walked from block to block, met only by mild curiosity by the onlookers. It felt good for me, kind of wished I could scream out, "look I made it!".

LOL, made what? I don’t think anyone would care what I made or if I made it at all… They would think I was a crazy person. So I gave 10 zloty to some bums, who seemed more than happy to take it and run off in the direction of the nearest convenience store.

I will never forget Bałuty, that is for sure. All I remember is fondness, but those are memories of a child, and later a reminiscent adult. Thanks for the memory just the same.

Jeżeli mnie nie pamiętasz to zapytaj Mamy.

Zdjęcie ciekawe, mało treści nazwa obozu: Polen-Jugendverwahrlager der Sicherheitspolizei in Litzmannstadt. Przypadkiem nie napisz "Łódzki" obóz koncentracyjny dla małoletnich Polaków

Dlaczego nie mogłem się dokopać Twojego blogu po P O L S K U !
